Gold is forever — but only if you care for it. With a little attention, your jewellery will keep its glow for generations.
Keep it clean. After each wear, wipe your gold with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oils and sweat. For a deeper clean, soak in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, then brush gently with a soft toothbrush.
Store it safely. Always store gold pieces separately — ideally in individual pouches or compartments — to prevent scratching. Avoid storing silver and gold together, as silver can tarnish the gold.
Avoid chemicals. Remove jewellery before swimming (chlorine damages gold), using cleaning products, or applying perfume and lotion. Chemicals can dull the surface and, over time, weaken the metal.
Bring it home. Once a year, bring your Sofiulla pieces to our showroom for a complimentary professional cleaning and inspection. We will check clasps, polish the surface, and ensure your jewellery stays as radiant as the day you bought it.
